Taj Mahal | East Albury
A warm, classic interior where natural stone brings softness, texture and character throughout the home.
Taj Mahal Natural Quartzite takes centre stage, its creamy tones and organic movement pairing beautifully with white cabinetry, warm timber, aged brass and natural textures.
Project Overview
Location: East Albury
Feature Stone: Taj Mahal Natural Quartzite – Honed
Additional Stone: Botticino Light – Honed
Alfresco: Caesarstone Cloudburst Concrete
Kitchen & Pantry
Taj Mahal Natural Quartzite in a honed finish is used throughout the kitchen and pantry, bringing warmth and subtle movement to the light, neutral palette.
The island features a detailed edge profile, adding softness and a more furniture-like finish to the stonework. The quartzite wraps down the end of the island, allowing the natural veining to continue across the larger surface.
Behind the range, Taj Mahal continues across the splashback with an integrated stone shelf, creating a strong feature and another layer of considered stone detailing.
The same quartzite continues through to the pantry, connecting the two spaces and creating consistency throughout the kitchen.
Ensuite
Taj Mahal Natural Quartzite continues into the ensuite, used across the vanity and shower seat. The honed finish and warm veining sit beautifully alongside the aged brass fixtures and neutral finishes.
Bathrooms & Laundry
Botticino Light in a honed finish is used throughout the kids’ bathrooms and laundry, as well as the nib wall capping. Its warm, creamy colouring complements the Taj Mahal while giving these spaces a slightly quieter finish of their own.
Alfresco
The alfresco features Caesarstone Cloudburst Concrete, introducing a more understated, contemporary surface suited to the outdoor entertaining space while remaining consistent with the home’s soft neutral palette.
